Looking for a way to make a difference?
Like it when youngsters look up to you?
Want to help "green" our world?
Interns at Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm will receive all that
and more! Aullwood's internship program provides in-depth, on-the-job
experience in a National Audubon Society institution devoted to
environmental education and sustainable agriculture. We train and support you
as you learn and apply new skills and knowledge.
Because we are a small operation (14 full-time employees), interns
become involved in all aspects of our work. Our internships are designed to be
interdisciplinary while allowing concentration in specific areas. We
welcome students who need an internship/co-op to complete college credits!
Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm is one of the top nature centers in
the country and is located just 10 miles north of Dayton, Ohio. Aullwood is
one of several education centers operated by the National Audubon Society.
Our 200-acre sanctuary includes six miles of walking trails winding
through prairie, woods, ponds, farmland and meadows. Internships have been
an important part of our program since 1967.
