Identify, Engage, and Conserve

Important Bird Areas conservation combines a combination of science with advocacy and outreach and aims to involve local communities and groups in taking action to minimize threats to birds and habitats at sites. Recently, a group of conservation staff throughout the Important Bird Areas network shared some of their success stories and experiences at the 2013 Audubon Convention.
